We don’t deserve dogs – simple and simple. Recently, a poor dog traveled 125 miles to return to the home you know, with an owner who got rid of it terribly after only a few months of acquiring it.
Manora, or Maru by his nickname, is a large bull bought from Ala Morozova, a breeder from Novosibirsk, Siberia, by a couple when she was a five month old puppy.
Six months later, the owner called the house to tell her that she no longer wanted Maru because she was “sensitive”.
The couple put Maro on a train with a flight attendant so that she can be sent back to her breeders.
However, the train trip turned out to be a scary and shocking experience for Marrow. The poor dog suffered a panic attack when he stopped the train, 200 km from her home, at a station in Akhensk.
“The dog jumped to the cabin door, kicked the handle to open it, and threw the connector away from the road. He jumped like a bullet. When he opened the door on the platform, I jumped in the night, “a breeder Morozova told the Siberian Times.
Maru obviously wanted to go home, but unfortunately she didn’t understand that she was deserted because she was spam.
Maru did not look back after leaving the train.
Its former owners have learned that Maru has disappeared, but Morozova said they don’t care and don’t want to have anything to do with it, and are less boring in its search.
Instead, no one bothered them and they were careless.
“It pissed me off. The owners weren’t upset at all, for example, the dog was lost and it’s okay. That was their response.” They gave the dog and the lamb fell from their shoulders. ”
Morozova immediately started looking for Maru.
Maru was finally found near her former home after about 48 hours while trying to locate the owners.
“She has been walking and running for two and a half days. Fortunately, no bear has eaten her and wolves have not chewed her.
When she was found, Maru was in very poor condition. It looked like she was crying.
Volunteers found her in an industrial area. The dog was very tired. She was lame and her legs were broken. Damaged platforms. His muzzle was broken. Maruzova said: Maru fell from the railway bridge.
“She did not escape to Novosibirsk, she wanted to return home. Surprisingly, she was on the right track.”
Maru is now receiving treatment for all of his injuries. We hope that soon you will get the love and care you deserve with a loving family. We send Marrow with all our love and kind energy for his recovery and his future.
Seagulls are known to turn and take things. Anyone who tried to taste a basket of fries can testify. Now a desperate British family is looking for their dog after the seagulls have hijacked the animal. The terrible ordeal happened in their backyard. Seagulls carried their dog (called Gizmo) before their eyes.
We cannot imagine the horror we should have seen. Social media owners have asked to provide full details on this issue. The story was also chosen by the national media. Becca Hill is the owner of the dog. She says she has heard of stories like this in the past. Like most people, I assumed it would not happen to him.
Her partner has sometimes hung clothes to dry them. There was no chance of saving the dog. The family now wonders if the animal has fallen somewhere and if it is still alive. The information about the dog was transmitted to social networks. We cannot believe that this bird will do something very cruel. What can a seagull want with this dog?
Officials roam the region. There is still no sign for the dog. Peter Rock is a seagull expert working at the University of Bristol as a bird doctor. He warns other dog owners that they will not have to suffer the same fate. Rock says these gulls will target the animals they catch and are known to harm pigeons.
Gulls will also tear ducks from their members to their members. For this reason, dog owners should take proper precautions. Those with smaller dogs should not leave pets unattended. A younger dog like Gizmo can become a meal for seagulls looking for a snack. A dog was clicked to death by these birds in the same neighborhood recently.
Of course, this information does not provide much comfort to this family during their hour of need. They are now forced to mourn the loss of their little dog. Please share this story to raise awareness of these types of concerns. We hope that no other dog owner will ever experience this kind of sadness again. No animal deserves such a fate.
Beauty is subjective and often becomes a matter of contention. Some consider beauty norms to be good blush and full lips; others are insane about pale skin and sophisticated facial characteristics. Yet all the arguments fade away when it comes to the beauty of children.
FullnessBuzz will demonstrate you kids who, thanks to their appearance and charming magic, have become popular all over the globe.
1. Anastasia Knyazeva, Russia
Recently, the British press called this 8-year-old Perm citizen “the most lovely girl in the globe.”
According to Anastasia’s mom, since birth, individuals have paid attention to the extraordinary appearance of the child, particularly the abyss of her blue eyes.
2. Anna Pavaga, Russia
And here’s a little angel from St. Petersburg. Anna is involved in ballet and, like many women of her era, she dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer.
Since she was 3 years old, she has been invited to promote children’s apparel, toys and sports goods.
3. Lauren Lunde, South Korea
There is an view that nature rewards kids with the most uncommon beauty of mixed marriages. Lauren, with her mom in Korea and her dad in Canada, is a good sign of this. The girl operates with children’s clothing brands like Aura Kids, MiniZaru, and MiniMe.
Our body does a lot while our mind collects the data. Having a busy life can make it difficult to see the warning signs coming from the body for kidney symptoms . The consequences of not listening to these signs given by our body can be disastrous.
How many signs did you notice?
1. Your Pattern of Urinating Changes
Your kidney is responsible for producing urine and disposing of waste. Do not ignore the changes in color, smell and appearance of urine in general. These changes are:
Foam urine. This indicates a lot of protein in the urine.
Blood in the urine. The active kidney must be excreted from your blood to produce urine. The blood cells infiltrate into the urine once the sieve is destroyed, resulting in an increase in the number of CPCs.
Excessive urination, especially at night. It is normal to urinate at least four to ten times a day. Something outside of this abnormal. /medstarhealth.org
2. Back Pains
You may experience severe back pain just below the rib cage as a result of kidney dysfunction. You can feel this pain in the groin or in the groin area. Kidney cysts are large renal cysts filled with water that cause pain in the legs and back and are the result of kidney disease called polycystic.
Understand that the symptoms of back pain resulting from kidney failure are an increase in body temperature, a feeling of sickness, excessive urination and vomiting. The usual back pain is not characterized by fever, occurs unexpectedly and is localized. Consult your doctor if the pain persists and you are not taking any medications. /medshadow.org
3. Increase in Blood Pressure
The kidneys and the circulatory system need each other to function. Your kidney is made up of tiny nephrons that secrete excess fluid and are lost in the blood. The nephrons that filter the blood will not receive the proper nutrients and oxygen when the blood vessels are destroyed. This is why high blood pressure.
To avoid kidney problems, try to properly control your blood pressure. Eat foods containing enough folic acid, which results in red blood cells in the body and average anemia. /medstarhealth.org
4. Swollen Eyes
The presence of protein in the urine is one of the first signs of a bad kidney filtration system, which can cause swelling of the parts around the eyes. Swollen eyes are the result of too much protein getting into your urine through the kidneys, instead of keeping them moving around your body.
Make an appointment with your doctor if your eyes are still swollen, even if they are comfortable and contain a lot of protein in the body. /medstarhealth.org
5. Swollen Feet, Hands, and Ankles
The excess fluid is not absorbed by the damaged kidneys and because of this sodium remains in the body, resulting in swelling of the hands, feet and ankles. It can also be a symptom of venous, heart or liver problems.
Tell her that sometimes all you need to do to stop swelling is to reduce your salt intake, remove a lot of fluid from the body and take certain medications. If this does not work, contact your doctor. /nephcure.org
6. Breathing Problems
Shortness of breath after doing little or nothing and kidney disease is associated with two things. When the kidneys are not working well, more fluid passes from the body to the lungs. Finally, the body lacks oxygen because of anemia, which causes respiratory problems.
Many things cause respiratory problems, such as heart failure, asthma, kidney failure or lung cancer. Make sure to see your doctor as soon as you notice that you can not breathe well without doing anything hard. /medstarhealth.org
7. Bitter Taste in the Mouth and Smelling Breath
There is this bitter taste in your mouth even after eating because of the accumulation of waste in your blood. When your bloodstream is full of many toxins and is contaminated, it can produce a breathing smell. This can also lead to weight loss due to loss of appetite.
There are many reasons why a food is able to taste bitterness in your mouth, poor oral hygiene, an allergy or something, if the cause is mentioned above, it should not pose problem if properly handled. If this continues, you should consult your doctor. /nephcure.org
8. When your Skin is Dry and it Itches
When your kidneys are healthy, your body contains the correct number of minerals, red blood cells and wastes are produced and a large amount of fluid is removed from the blood. The inability of our kidneys to maintain a sufficient number of nutrients and minerals that can lead to kidney and bone diseases is the cause of dry skin and itching.
Know that it is always good to hydrate if your skin is irritated and dry. Be sure to consult your doctor before taking any medicine that prevents itching. Some of these drugs contain certain elements that can destroy the kidneys. /medstarhealth.org
9. Overall Weakness, Headaches, and Tiredness
Erythropoietin (EPO) is a hormone produced as a result of converting vitamin D into our body to maintain strong bones that result from a holistic and healthy functioning. The production of red blood cells is the result of this hormone. They generate little EPO as a result of kidney dysfunction. Your brain and muscles weaken because of the small number of red blood cells (cells that supply oxygen to the body).
You should know that anemia occurs in many people with long-term renal failure. Anemia can begin to develop when only twenty or fifty percent of your kidneys work. You need to see a doctor if you sleep well and you always feel tired and stressed easily. /thekidneycare.com
10. Difficulty in Sleeping
The toxins remain in the bloodstream because they do not leave the body through the urine, which affects the functioning of your kidneys. You may find it difficult to sleep because of the large amount of toxins in your body. The risks of kidney failure increase when you are not sleeping well.
You should also know that sleep apnea is a disorder that affects many people with severe kidney disease and relates to breathing periods during sleep. Some of these breaks may continue to breathe for a few seconds or minutes. Normal breathing resumes after a pause with a big sniff. Snoring deeply all the time is a sign that you need to see a doctor. /nephcure.org
No doubt a refrigerator, the first thing you think about storing food, especially perishable food. Of course, it’s a great way to preserve food, keep it fresh and extend the shelf life of most foods. But do not you make mistakes sometimes? Should not some of these foods be kept different from the modern refrigerator instinct? Foods that do not belong to the refrigerator are not they?
1. Hard Cheese
Hard cheeses are usually processed about 6 months. Once done, they are stable enough to be stored elsewhere than in the refrigerator. Storing hard cheese in the refrigerator makes it stiffer and harder.
2. Bread
The cooling of the bread causes in fact faster aging, becomes invalid and spoils. Not to mention drying it. If you have to choose cooling for your cooking, a freezer is your best choice. You can grill food and it’s completely new.
3. Potatoes
If you want crispy and delicious fries, leave them in a store until you’re ready. The ideal temperature for potatoes is room temperature – there is nothing extraordinary. What the fridge does for potatoes is that it converts each delicious starter into colloidal sugar.
4. Herbs
The fact that the herbs are fresh and perishable does not mean that they must be automatically placed in the refrigerator for storage. By doing this, you will get what you are trying to avoid much earlier than expected.
5. Garlic
The types of garlic are stored in well ventilated places. Cluttered places and refrigerators are not good places to store garlic. This will not only increase acidity and mold, but could also affect your health.
6. Onion
Like garlic, onion lamps do not work well with cooling. Onions rot easily and much faster with moisture. Therefore, even when choosing dry places to store, keep in mind that you do not associate them with potatoes in the store.
7. Salad Dressing
It is best to leave vinaigrettes in the cupboard, especially those containing oil or vinegar as a base for changing clothes. Although yogurt vinaigrettes, mayonnaise and cream can be stored in the refrigerator.
8. Eggs
Many people will be different because the eggs are also kept in the refrigerator of the grocery store. As a general rule, if you take your eggs in the refrigerator, you must keep them. However, it is best to leave fresh eggs in the store.
9. Tomatoes
Cooling is the worst decision when choosing the preservation method of tomatoes (except mashed). If you keep them in the refrigerator, you will lose texture, tingling and freshness. In addition, mature faster outside the refrigerator.
10. Coffee
If you want your coffee to retain its smell and taste, do not put it in the refrigerator. The refrigerator humidity is not ideal for coffee beans and coffee. A freezer can be an option, but only in exceptional cases.
11. Ketchup
The tomato sauce is very stable and will work well without cooling. Indeed, it contains a lot of preservatives, as well as vinegar, which guarantees a long life. In fact, open ketchup will continue until it is empty or until it reaches the expiration date.
12. Honey
Fun fact: honey is really a food forever – it never happens. You will love your loved one if he is stored in a shop, away from extreme temperatures. The refrigerator crystallises the honey and becomes almost inedible.
13. Melons
If you need a taste and texture of watermelon, keep it in a spacious store. Uncured watermelon does not work well with cooling. The refrigerator will cause the collapse of the melon, change the taste and texture.
14. Butter
The butter preservation method usually depends on the climate of the place where you live. Cold climates can better accommodate the butter in the closet than warmer climates. It contains enough preservatives to stay out of the fridge.
15. Pepper
Like herbs, vegetables and some fruits, pepper does not work in the refrigerator. It is best to keep peppers, including yellow, green, strong and red peppers, outside the refrigerator in ventilated tanks and away from extreme temperatures.
16. Eggplant
The best place to store eggplants is in the ventilation shop, at room temperature. Cooling will disable the life unless it is maintained for more than two days. In this case, simply weaken the refrigerator.
17. Olive Oil
It makes no sense to cool the oil. In addition to solidifying and changing the consistency, the flavor can really affect. The olive oil must be kept in the cupboard, which is enough for two years.
Whatever the effects described above, the preservation of certain foods in the refrigerator can be detrimental to your health and that of your loved ones. Some items should stay in the closet or somewhere in the store to stay edible, delicious and delicious. We hope you know a number of them now. If you have friends and family members who need this knowledge, feel free to share this article with as many of them as possible.
Dates are the oval small fruits of the date palm They grown in tropical climates like Africa and saudi Arabia. Because of the distance, they have to travel to American tables, dates are often sold dried, which concentrates their softness and gives them a pleasant rubbery consistency. Honestly, eating dates can seem like spoiling with gummy candies – except that they are much healthier.
The nutritional benefits of dates are numerous. Only a 3.5-ounce serving contains about 20% of the daily requirement of potassium, as well as 7 grams of fiber, 2 grams of protein and different types of antioxidants. Dates also contain a good amount of copper, manganese, vitamin B6, magnesium and iron.
Fresh dates can be bright red or bright yellow (or some other way), but the dried dates are usually golden brown in color. The most popular varieties are Medjool and Deglet Noor, but there are actually more than 3,000 varieties in the world!
Whatever the variety chosen, dry or fresh, dates offer considerable health benefits. Try to eat only two a day for a week and watch what happens to your body. We have collected some of the most exciting possibilities, but honestly, # 5 is almost alone!
1. Better Digestion
Fiber is a fundamental part of healthy digestion, but we do not really digest it. Instead, fiber adds volume to your stool. It sounds crazy, but it really helps your body move the waste through the colon and eliminate it more easily and more regularly.
Dates contain 7 grams of fiber per 3.5 ounce serving, making it a great way to add to your diet. You can chop them and sprinkle them with oatmeal for even greater energy boost, but it’s better to work until you eat. The fiber should be added gradually to the diet to prevent it from causing the same constipation that you are trying to prevent.
2. Sustained Energy
Although dates are quite sweet, they do not increase blood sugar. Again, it is fiber that deserves credit. Fiber slows digestion and softens the rate at which sugar in dates affects blood flow. You will not have a peak or an accident when you like dates, but rather a sustainable source of energy.
Thus, despite their candy taste, dates are considered a low glycemic index food, which means that they get a low score in the test that measures the rate at which glucose levels increase after eating specific foods.
3. Significant Disease Prevention
Dates are rich in different types of antioxidants, which are compounds that bind and neutralize free radicals in the body. Free radicals tend to cause cellular damage until they are neutralized, which increases the risk of many common diseases. Dates have been found to have the highest levels of antioxidants among all related fruits, including figs and plums. The three most powerful antioxidants at the dates are: • Flavonoids: Flavonoids are antioxidants known to reduce inflammation in the body. They have been widely studied and found to reduce the risk of diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and certain types of cancer. • Carotenoids: Carotenoids are antioxidants that contribute greatly to the health of your heart. they can also help maintain healthy eyes by reducing the risk of macular degeneration and cataracts. • Phenolic Acid: Another potent anti-inflammatory and phenolic acid would reduce the risk of developing heart disease or cancer. Chronic inflammation is a factor in almost all diseases known to man, a diet rich in antioxidant foods contributes greatly to the maintenance of general health. Dates are one of those foods.
4. Slower Age-Related Mental Decline
The time has come to protect the brain from the ravages of age-related mental decline. Now. There are many ways to challenge your brain and keep it clear, but everyone relies on proper nutrition to maintain clear pathways in the brain. Dates have been found to reduce inflammatory markers of your gray matter associated with higher rates of Alzheimer’s.
Animal studies have also shown that dates can prevent the formation of beta-amyloid protein plaques in the brain. When these plaques form, they interrupt the communication between the brain cells and lead to their death more quickly. Other animal studies have shown that diet-fed mice with dates have better learning ability, longer memory, and fewer anxiety-related behaviors.
5. Less Reliance on White Sugar
Excessive consumption of sugar is a serious health crisis that doctors say is fueling the obesity epidemic. Refined sugars are packed in so many foods, under so many different names, that even people who try to eat healthier can be victims. If you are really determined to reduce your sugar intake, it is best to eat dishes that are almost exclusively cooked at home.
To this end, dates are an excellent substitute for sugar. Eating whole is a treat, but you can also replace sugar doses in many recipes. Simply mix the dates and water in a blender until you get a paste. The dough can be replaced 1: 1 for sugar in everything you cook. Although the dough is highly caloric, it contains dietary fiber and antioxidants – which refined white sugar does not contain.
Conclusion
Dates are an excellent complement to your daily diet. Since they are high in calories, it is advisable to stick to about 2 per day. Fortunately, it’s a lot to enjoy the remarkable benefits to health. Nutrients, fiber and antioxidants make these dates a pleasure for which you should not feel guilty.
Then chop them for salads or oatmeal, use date-based dough instead of sugar in these cookies, or simply snacks on whole dates. The result will be a healthier body and mind, as well as the sustained energy you need to power your day. So what are you waiting for? There are 3000 types to choose from!
Whenever you lose 10 pounds of fat, 8 pounds are exhaled into the air and the rest is converted to sweat, tears, urine and other liquids from your body. But losing weight does not just affect the back heels or belly fat, because during this process, your entire body undergoes many changes. And sometimes you could even get unexpected results.
FullnessBuzz has discovered exactly what’s changing in your body and brain when you lose weight.
11. Your energy level will go up.
The first thing you feel after losing a few extra pounds is a big boost of energy. The reason is quite simple: the less weight you carry, the more energy you save for other important tasks. In addition, weight loss improves the efficiency of oxygen, so you do not run out of steam when you climb the stairs or try to get on the bus.
10. Will improve Your memory.
Your brain is another organ that benefits from weight loss. Some studies have also shown that eliminating excess fat can improve cognitive abilities related to planning, strategy and organization. After losing weight, your brain becomes even more active when storing new memories and therefore requires fewer resources to gather the necessary information.
9. The skin will become clear.
Your path to weight loss offers you an added benefit: not only do you feel healthy, but you also look healthy. Some people who have decided to adopt a healthier lifestyle and lose weight have noticed significant changes in their appearance. Their skin has thinned and stopped peeling, their hair has become thicker and their nails have become stronger.
8. Your knees don’t hurt anymore.
Losing only 1 kilo of body weight reduces 4 kilos of pressure on the knee joints. Imagine how grateful your knees will be if you free them from this burden! In addition, weight loss, especially if visceral fat builds up around the belly, can reduce the symptoms of arthritis and other joint diseases.
7. Your allergies get genial.
Being overweight puts a strain on the respiratory system and, if you suffer from seasonal allergies often, only worsens the symptoms. But as you lose weight, you start having milder allergies because your airways become clear. In some cases, you may even give up your inhaler and avoid taking the usual seasonal pills.
6. Will have a Smaller Feet.
When you lose weight, you lose fat all over your body, which includes your feet. So do not panic when your favorite shoes start to slip off your feet. Instead, be happy that it is now easier for you to close your boots around your lean calves. And do not forget to resize your rings – even your fingers will be thinner.
5. You become more sensitive to cold temperatures.
When you lose weight, you literally lose the insulating fat that surrounds your body and keeps it warm. Without this extra layer, your body becomes more sensitive to changes in temperature, especially in cold weather.
Another reason you start getting cold is that your metabolism slows down. Your body tries to keep as much energy as possible because it does not contain many calories. So get ready for sweaters and cardigans to become your new best friends.
4. Your menstrual cycle changes.
Your hormone levels are closely related to your body weight. Thus, when you lose or take excess fat, your endocrine system undergoes some changes. Higher or lower levels of estrogen and testosterone may cause menstrual irregularities, heavier or lighter flow, and shortening or lengthening of the cycle.
3. You, Will, have fewer headaches.
Although obesity does not directly trigger a headache, it increases the risk of having a migraine by 50%. Current theory, supported by health experts, suggests that fat cells increase the amount of inflammation in the body. In some situations, this inflammation can cause headaches. That’s why losing weight can reduce the severity and number of headaches.
2. Your appetite increases.
When you lose weight, reduce the levels of leptin, a hormone released by fat cells that sends signals to the brain indicating that you are full. While your body is trying to reduce your leptin levels to normal, this can lead to increased appetite and a strong desire to eat fatty, high-calorie foods. But do not give up: these cravings disappear when your body gets used to its new lifestyle.
1. You stop snoring.
The researchers found that a loss of at least 5% of body weight can help you sleep better and sleep longer. It turns out that even a modest weight loss reduces excess weight around the neck, which usually blocks the upper airways and worsens the symptoms of sleep apnea and snoring.
With nothing to wake you up in the middle of the night, the quality of your sleep improves considerably and this, in turn, helps you lose weight much faster.
Have you ever tried losing weight? What positive and negative side effects did you notice? Share the stories on your weight loss journey with us in the comments!
When we treat oily hair, we usually end up using special shampoos, hiding them in a ponytail or washing them very often. But there are other tips that can help you manage the excess oil without working too hard. For example, eating certain foods may actually reduce the amount of oil produced, while other types of food may increase it.
At FullnessBuzz, we’ve put together a list of foods to avoid and another list to keep in mind when trying to repair oily hair.
Foods to avoid:
1. Sugar
Hormones are the messengers of our body that help control almost all the processes that take place in us. That’s why it’s important to keep them in balance. Sugar is not a product that helps that. In fact, it creates an imbalance with hormones. That’s why, instead of helping, this affects the body’s inflammatory processes and increases the blood sugar level, which encourages the glands to produce more oil.
2. Refined carbs
There are good (or complex) carbohydrates and bad (or simple) carbohydrates. Refined carbohydrates are related to the second group: bad carbohydrates. Bread is a good example of a refined carbohydrate food: white bread made from refined grains is softer and softer than whole wheat bread. As a result, refined grains are grains that are processed by producers to make them softer and lighter.
The sad part of this is that these carbohydrates overload our body with the work of carbohydrate treatment. This process causes the fatty glands to produce excess sebum and end up with a greasy scalp.
3. Fried foods
All fried foods, especially fried foods and fast foods, overload our body with oil due to excessive stimulation of the sebaceous glands. The oil they produce covers our skin, including the scalp, with extra fat.
Therefore, having a fast food burger at night can turn your hair into a messy mess at night. Not only should you avoid consuming these foods to make your diet healthier, but also to make your hair cleaner.
4. Milk products
Strange as it may seem, dairy products can also be blamed for producing more sebum. Indeed, bodies like oils and fats digest dairy products, such as milk, butter and cheese, leaving us with sticky hair and facial acne. They also contain components linked to excessive amounts of hormone, testosterone, which also affects the excessive production of sebum.
Therefore, a glass of hot, high-fat milk in the evening may require urgent washing of hair in the morning.
5. Salt
Excessive salt intake causes swelling, bags under the eyes, dandruff and general dehydration of the body. The last point encourages the body to produce more oil to fight the lack of water. Again, all of this eventually causes hair sticky and oily, especially in those who are subject to it. This is why it is important to pay attention to the consumption of crackers, fries, chips and salted nuts because they are those which contain an excess of salt.
Products to eat instead:
Foods rich in vitamins B and E
Vitamins B and E are among the most important vitamins for our body and hair. Not only do they help develop strong and beautiful hair, but they also regulate the production of extra oils, which makes them more beautiful. Foods like beans, vegetables and fruits are rich in vitamin B and are the ones that can help your hair to be breathtaking. Vitamin E is found in green leafy vegetables, sunflower seeds and nuts.
Foods rich in zinc
Our body needs zinc in small amounts and this mineral is not stored in us. The good news is that if you increase your intake of zinc-rich products, it can help combat the oil production of your body. You can find zinc dietary supplements, however, it is also available in natural foods such as oats, shellfish and eggs.
Good fats
Having a hair type prone to fat does not mean that you should stop consuming fat completely. Fats are an important part of the proper functioning of our body. Just adjust the intake of saturated and trans fats. They are rather easy to identify because they tend to stay solid at room temperature. Therefore, margarine, butter and animal fats are all trans fatty acids. Change them to “good” fats such as nuts, vegetable oils and other fish.
What other ways to fight greasy hair that you know? Please tell us about it in the comments!
When you are hungry and you have little time, what kind of food do you eat? For most of us, it depends on what is happening and what is happening (if you look at your average workspace provider or if you are walking through a US grocery store), it is likely that the treatment is ultra.
Chips, chocolate bars, sweet granola bars (almost the same), toasted and salted nuts. Junk food, pure and simple.
The ubiquity of junk food in the United States has long been a focus of attention for health advocacy groups and, of course, street food vendors. Taxes on soft drinks and pressures to “eat healthy” have the same purpose: to reduce our dependence on ultra-processed foods. They are bad for you, for your wallet, for your size, for your well-being, these groups claim it and have been demanding it for years, despite the lack of solid evidence.
Until now. In recent months, new research has begun to confirm claims that processed foods are bad for you, in ways we never imagined before. What does new research mean for your diet and well-being? We explain
What is an “ultra processed” food?
In the first place: there is a difference between minimally processed, processed and ultra-processed foods. Invented for the first time in 2009 by researcher Carlos Monteiro, professor of nutrition and public health at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, “ultraprocessed” foods are part of a four-part Nova scale that classifies foods according to their production.
The Nova scale is the following:
1: Unprocessed or unprocessed foods, such as eggs, edible parts of plants, pasteurized milk or ground spices.
2: Processed cooking ingredients, such as oils or butter.
3: Processed foods, such as canned vegetables, fruits packed in syrup, fresh bread or cheese.
4: Ultra-processed foods and beverages, such as soft drinks, reconstituted meats (eg, hot dogs) or frozen dinners.
In other words, according to Vox, “ultra-processed foods are created in factories, filled with chemicals and other additives for color, taste, texture and shelf life.” This treatment generally increases taste and caloric density. of food, while eliminating fiber, vitamins and nutrients. “
And why is it important for Americans in particular? Because we are too dependent on these foods.
According to a 2010 study on eating habits in the United States, which followed 9,317 participants for a year, “ultraprocessed foods accounted for 57.9% of energy intake and 89.7% of food intake. added sugars. ” more than half of its calories come from ultra-processed foods, and many of them come from added sugars.
Why is a problem? Several studies published last year may explain why this should be cause for concern.
Diets high in ultra-processed foods are being linked with weight gain.
A recent study by the National Institutes of Health, published in May 2019, found a link between diets rich in ultra-processed foods and weight gain. According to the press release,
The study followed only 20 participants, but the research was conducted in a highly controlled environment: 10 men and 10 women lived “in a designated center for four weeks,” with half of the subjects receiving a diet that included ultra-high -Transformed and the other. Half were fed poorly processed foods. After two weeks, the group plans were changed.
That means some things: the claim that “calories introduced, calories released” is all that matters, may not be as bulletproof as some people thought. It seems rather that the type of calories you consume plays a more important role in weight. In addition, those who ate the ultra-processed diet tended to eat more than those who had a low-processing diet: 500 calories per day. It is interesting to note that when asked to rate the food, the participants did not find that their ultra-processed foods were better than the less processed foods.
Ultra-processed foods are linked to an increase in numerous health problems.
Weight is not the essence of health, no matter what diets companies try to sell you. The recent NIH study on weight gain shows that these ultra-processed foods do not swim with our body, no matter how small we are. And, in fact, as Michael Hobbes writes in The Huffington Post:
And research into the health consequences of ultra-processed foods is beginning to show. Here is how
An increased risk of heart disease.
Cardiovascular disease, according to the World Health Organization, is the leading cause of death in the world and accounts for one third of deaths worldwide each year. It is also highly preventable to address the underlying causes, such as smoking or, as you guessed it, diet.
A French study, published in the BMJ last month, followed 109,159 participants aged 18 and over for an average of five years to monitor their diet and health. They found that “the consumption of ultra-processed foods is associated with an increased risk of global cardiovascular disease, risk of coronary heart disease and risk of cerebrovascular disease.” The results “remained statistically significant after adjusting several markers of nutritional quality of the diet” and taken for many variables.
This may be due to the fact that ultra-processed foods are high in calories and nutrients, but researchers have found that the link to cardiovascular disease goes “to nutritional composition”: “various ultra-processed food compounds.” Neoformed during treatment can also play a role in cardiovascular health. “
An increased risk of certain types of cancer.
This same study conducted in France also revealed a possible link between diets rich in ultra-processed foods and certain types of cancer. According to a BMJ press release, “the results show that a 10% increase in the proportion of ultra-processed foods in the diet was associated with a 12% increase in overall cancer risk and 11% increase in risk of breast cancer.
Early death
This may be evident, given the studies mentioned above, but even considering deaths unrelated to cancer and non-cardiovascular diseases, people with a diet rich in ultra-processed foods tend to: Have a higher risk of premature death.
In a Spanish study, according to NBC News, “the researchers found that, compared to participants whose diets contained the least amount of ultra-processed foods, participants whose diets contained the highest amounts had an increased risk of 62% premature death during the period of study This study also took into account factors such as sex, age, physical activity, basic BMI and smoking history. “
A possible link with the autism spectrum disorder.
Finally, and more recently, although doctors still do not know what causes autistic spectrum disorders, some recent studies have found a link between intestinal bacteria and autism, especially some food preservatives. especially propionic acid, which is found in a higher concentration in TSA. Stool samples of individuals, it is treated. A study conducted in 2017 found that the intestinal microbiota of people with ASD was different from that of neurotypic people, and new research shows that this may be related to some preservatives used in ultra-processed foods.
Researchers at the University of Central Florida found that neural stem cells highly exposed to propionic acid, called PPAs, were more likely to develop into glial cells, which, while they could “support neuronal function” can also lead to inflammation. In the brain they interrupt the connectivity between the neurons. In addition, they pointed out that PPA “damages the molecular pathways that normally allow neurons to send information to the rest of the body.”
Although the body naturally produces PPA in the intestine, the research suggests that “consumption of processed foods that may have a high rate of PPA during pregnancy may increase the levels of PPA in the mother’s intestine.” That could then be transferred to the fetus.
Why are processed foods so bad for us?
Scientists are still not sure, but research is beginning to indicate that “processed foods, with all their additives, sugar and lack of fiber, can be formulated to alter the gut microbiome, trillions of bacteria present in our intestines and two points, “according to Vox. “These disorders, in turn, can increase the risk of chronic diseases and encourage excess food.”
It is essential to keep your gut microbiome healthy because most of the bacteria is good. Our guts help us to digest food, of course, but they are also essential for the proper functioning of the immune system. It disturbs the intestines, it disturbs your whole body.
Does this mean that I have to eliminate all processed foods?
Whenever possible, avoid ultra-processed foods. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, raw meats (ground beef instead of mortadella), whole grains, raw nuts. That said, this advice comes with a warning. Two warnings, really.
The first is that deserts and food insecurity are two very real problems in the United States that disproportionately affect people with low incomes. You can not talk about eating well without talking about who eats well. Inequality and nutrition go hand in hand, and the existence of food deserts (places where fresh fruits and vegetables and other poorly processed foods are not available and / or are affordable) means that it is impossible for many low-income Americans to avoid Ultra-processed foods, both cheap and easily available. To change this, we need to change the whole food system by supporting, for example, the Healthy Food Initiative and non-profit organizations such as The Food Trust, which manages farmers’ markets in the country’s food deserts. .
Second, if you have the means to avoid ultra-processed foods, be kind to yourself. Although you should severely limit the amount of processed foods in your diet, you do not need to cut them completely. If you take a bag of chips from time to time, it is not the end of the world. Adopting a too severe diet approach could lead to an eating disorder, especially if you begin to equate some foods with bad or even bad foods. The research shows that not only the diet does not work, with a 50-year research that shows that “95-98% of attempts to lose weight fail,” but it is difficult to cut whole groups of foods Developing a disorderly diet.
There is no inherent moral quality to the food and you are not bad if you occasionally eat a bag of Skittles. The tips such as “healthy eating” are full of baggage, a language encoded on the moral faults of people who can not cut “dirty” foods, a reality too familiar for more than 10% of Americans who suffer from eating disorders. diet.
At the end of the day, you have to eat. Maybe a little more thoughtful.
